It is one thing to be stupid, it is another to be treated as such when you are not. That is the sense I get from the political rhetoric regarding the debt limit. What is so hard about settling the issue now instead later in 6 months? The 2012 elections are not forums for this issue. This is a serious problem that requires addressing now. My opinion is that our illustrious Congress has dropped the ball for years while espousing the idea that they are doing a good job for us. They have made the issues of economy more of a class and race issue that they will admit. We the voters are required to speak our minds on this and one way to get their attention is by the vote. These issues have been in the wings for decades under several Presidents and the Congress wants to pin the tail of failure on what ever President is in office. If this current President fails to gain office in the next election then we will now that American is still as gullible as ever and possible equally as Racist. The 2 party system is broken and much like a blind date just as unpredictable as to its outcome. The voting public needs to stop voting along party lines and look carefully at each candidate and disregard the political rhetoric and theater.
