Reading the assortment of columns and blogs that published daily, I am constantly surprised in the slanted writings circulated across the country. That is actually the beauty of our democratic society, any one can proffer their opinions and gain support for or against but at the same time influence public opinion. While the readers who absorb this information are diverse often the truth ignored due to a seemingly inborn or learned association with the information given. All of this means nothing compared to the complete and obvious lack of  competence shown by our Congress. Instead of just doing the work they  were elected  to do (and they stated that they would do), they have spent Our valuable time fighting political (and possibly Racial) battles that create nothing more than bigger divisions among the people. This dividing of the public is to garner as many votes as possible for them to remain in office while doing as little as possible to better the Government. It appears that  politician is  synonymous with charlatan and huckster. This is to be expected in a circus or carnival but not in Congress. The non mainstream media has effectively coalesced with these neer do wells to the extent of being in bed with them, thereby creating a built in forum for their disingenuous behavior. The melting pot that is America still has some slag that needs to be removed before the end product is clean enough to be called America, home of the free.
