Today as I made my way to work (4:30  AM), I was closed upon from the rear by a pickup truck (I Identified is as it passed me in a no passing zone), before passing me the driver drafted me for a short period and after the curve in the road and realizing I was not going to exceed the posted speed limit, He backed off (yes it was a he) and sped around me after an oncoming vehicle passed us going in the opposite direction. This driver and the one who followed him around me are just instances of people who while not having accidents cause them. The unfortunate thing is these drivers will never believe they did anything wrong and will remember any incident or accident had it occurred as some one elses fault. The Truck had Illinois plates which appeared to be official (no surprise there) and the follow car was just that a follower who could have been involved in an accident by blindly following another car with no idea of what was ahead. This is not an isolated incident, it occurs daily and these drivers have no sense of what the consequences could be. We must remember that the rules of the road in any state are rules with very few exceptions. When a person passes the written and driving test for an operators license (not drivers license ) because you are operating a vehicle capable of causing great harm and damage to people and property when the rules are not followed. Driving irresponsibly is as dangerous as driving impaired and  operators need to be more responsible no matter how well they believe they drive (operate) a vehicle. The rules of the road rule, perception of ability does not.
