The election part 1 is now over . The preceding hocus focus was enough to confuse anyone. Each candidate was focusing on either trashing his or her opponent and their party yet no one was putting any focus on their own accomplishments or what they hope to accomplish. This lack of focus and side show campaigning leaves many of us confused about what they intend to do. Since we really only sort of know what these office seekers are planning to do or proposing to to, what do we do? This situation is prevalent in all parts of the nation and many of us (voters) make the tragic mistake of voting for the incumbent or the person’s whose ad registers with us. It is apparent that the media blitz’s work as we become numb to the hype and do not really hear what is being said or not said. The political machine depends on us not hearing and understanding what’s being said so they can continue to pull the political wool over our eyes. These modern times of mass communication has brought us a deluge of poor information and misinformation that sounds great and enveloped in the air of truth wrapped around the body of a lie.
