Due to the inability of our Congress to do their jobs we are in danger of default (maybe). Where does the “gang of six” and other high profile Congressional members find the time to appear on television when they should be doing their talking in the Congress where it will do the most good? Is it election time already or still? These elected officials have been running for office since Mr. Obama became President while shirking the duties of their offices. Now at least one of them is proposing the President be given the power to raise the debt ceiling without a constitutional action allowing such a move. The point appears to be having the President do something illegal to allow possible impeachment or some other action to remove him from office. We have possibly the most inept and shortsighted Congress in decades, instead of doing what they are elected to do, their main focus seems to be staying in office. They all appear to crave the media attention like so many ham actors who have appeared in too many “C” grade movies (this may be a disservice to the actors).
