Recently I had to change computers. Before Windows 10, all you had to do was buy a transfer cable and get the transfer done. With windows 10, the requirement is different. After trying my transfer cable (and failing), I searched around for assistance. What I found was “Lap link” and Zinstall. Lap link turned out to be a bust as it would not transfer the Apps (programs). Zinstall transfers everything for just a few dollars more and the process is simple. It does take a bit of time to effect a transfer depending on how much information you are transferring. My transfer took about  2 hours. I do recommend spending some time researching options but I have had good luck with Zinstall and highly recommend it. After the transfer , you may have to tweak your system to suit your personal preferences but you would do that any way if you upgrade your computer with no transfer but your tweaks may be bit more difficult.
